Final Chorus -

Picnic time for teddy bears,
The little teddy bears are having a lovely time today.
Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic on their holiday.
See them gaily dance about.
They love to play and shout.
And never have any cares.
At six o'clock their mommies and daddies
Will take them home to bed
Because they're tired little teddy bears.

Fascinating to see the stall up and running, Aims! And is that your good self in the picture?

It reminds me somewhat of the stall I used to work on at the annual fair of my sons' school - where the mothers of boys in the rowing club ran a toy tombola every year, to raise money for the buying of boats. We met every week of the year to make the toys - a kind of assmebly line, with some cutting out, some stitching, and others stuffing, and attaching eyes, noses etc....

It was great fun, and somehow we managed to get the money together to buy those essential 'fours' and 'eights' (ie the boats).

That sounds like more fun than I've been having all by myself Dear B.....

The booth finally set up for its first go around was very satisfying...only 2 more to go....

And that would be my brother and myself...yes....I'm the one without the beard...

I'd be so sorry to see all those lovely bears go. Your slippers look toasty cosy too. You've got me looking at wool and needles when we go shopping now!

Well breezy - I know exactly what you mean - each bear definately has it's own character and they are so cuddly. I keep telling myself they are going to a good home.
Coming over to your site to give you a link to a bear pattern I found the other day....it's the time of year to be knitting!!

It must be hard seeing your bears go. I have to say, your stall looks wonderful, I would be spoilt for choice. Mail order to France?!

Debra - absolutely of course!! Anywhere in the world...

I'm hoping to get The Man to set up a website for me - when he does - I'll let everyone know...
